T.J. Michael Ready for Three-Race Weekend in “Buckeye State”
Three Events on Tap During Upcoming Weekend

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

Fremont, Ohio (August 19, 2015) – The last month has been good for “410” sprint car rookie T.J. Michael. The Plano, Texas native, who relocates to Fremont, Ohio during the summer months for the purpose of racing, has earned six consecutive top-ten finishes during “410” sprint car competition; all of which occurring during Fremont/Attica Sprint Title Championship Series feature action. Michael, pilot of the  Fremont Fence Company, Advanced Cast Stone, Kear’s Speed Shop, Shell Shock, Hinchman Suits, Snap-On, #8M sprint car, has finished as high as second during his recent hot streak; a career-high performance for the division rookie. T.J. Michael hopes to continue his top-ten streak this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, as the Texas native prepares for a three day swing through the state of Ohio, eventually ending with UNOH All Star action.

“Things have been going well and we are very happy about it” said T.J. Michael, “We made some changes to our operation and I think they worked out for the better. It took us a while to get to this point, but I am happy about the direction that things are going. I go into the weekends with a lot more confidence than before and that plays a huge part in our results, also. We want to keep things going. We are up against some tough company this weekend. Hopefully we can get ourselves in a great position all three nights and work for those top-ten finishes.”

T.J. Michael will kick off his three day trek through the “Buckeye State” on Friday evening, August 21, at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio. The home of “Ohio’s Finest Racing” will host a $3,000-to-win main event for the “410” sprinters on Friday evening. Michael has one “305” sprint car victory at “A.R.P.” in 2015; occurring during the HD Supply “Spring Nationals” in early April.

Michael will turn his attention towards the Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio on Saturday, August 22. The Texan recently visited Wayne County Speedway during the 2015 edition of Ohio Sprint Speedweek in late June. Unfortunately, Michael missed qualifying for the UNOH All Star main event; finishing ninth during the evening’s B-main.

The three-race weekend will come to a close on Sunday night, August 23, at the Millstream Speedway near Findlay, Ohio. Racers will compete for a top prize of $5,000 during the Sunday night spectacle. T.J. Michael hopes to out-duel the regional travelers and secure a career-first “410” sprint car victory, as well as a career-first UNOH All Star victory.

“I’m definitely excited for the weekend” said T.J. Michael, “Anytime we get to travel a little bit and visit tracks we wouldn’t normally go to is great. I actually head back to Texas on Monday morning for school, so hopefully I can go home for the week with a positive attitude. We’ll see how everything plays out.”
