Max Stambaugh Will Visit Ohsweken Speedway for Canadian Nationals
Hopes to Upset Competitive Field for $12,000

Elida, Ohio (September 15, 2015) – Rising sprint car hotshot “Mad” Max Stambaugh will make a trip north of the border during the upcoming weekend and participate in the 11th annual “Arrow Express Canadian Sprint Car Nationals” at the Ohsweken Speedway in Ohsweken, Ontario, Canada. The $12,000-to-win, 360 sprint car showcase will feature three nights of competition, beginning with an open “Test and Tune” session on Thursday night, September 17. Racing will officially ignite on Friday evening, September 18, with the “Burger Barn Night Before the Nationals,” followed by the “Arrow Express Canadian Sprint Car Nationals” finale on Saturday, September 19. Max Stambaugh will pilot the familiar Horstman Racing #17 during the Ohsweken program.
“I’m pretty excited to get to Ohsweken” explained Stambaugh, “I want to thank the Horstman Racing team for this opportunity. This event is one of the premiere 360 sprint car races in the world and to be a part of it is a privilege. Our goal is to make the best of this trip and work our way up front.”
“Mad” Max Stambaugh will enter the “Arrow Express Canadian Sprint Car Nationals” with four sprint car victories to his credit in 2015. The Elida, Ohio native owns two victories during 360 sprint car competition and two during 410 sprint car competition, visiting victory lane at three different venues including Limaland Motorsports Park, Butler Speedway and I-96 Speedway. The 2015 K&L Ready Mix NRA ‘360’ Sprint Invaders championship runner-up has earned 19 top-five and 25 top-ten finishes thus far in 2015.
“We’ve had a pretty successful season so far” said Stambaugh, “We want to keep that going this weekend.”
