Kolten Gouse, Outlaw crewmember and PA native, jumps on board with FI!

Kolten Gouse; a former Pennsylvania Posse member turned outlaw crewmember in 2007, hasn’t forgot were he came from as he continues to give back to the racing community. Kolten, who works for World of Outlaws star Joey Saldana and team owner Kasey Kahne,  provides sponsorship opportunities to several teams in central PA. Over the past four years, he has racked up 3 tour championships and 3 Williams Grove super sportsman track championships- inlcuding at title in 2010 with Frankie  Herr. In addtion to Herr, Kolten has also provided product support to the Highland Tire 358ci team, piloted by Pat Cannon; which dominated in central Pennsylvania in 2010 with 19 wins and two track championships; Williams Grove and Selinsgrove Speedway.
2011 plans will include providing Frankie Herr, Pat Cannon, and Todd Shaffer with product help, as well as, participating in the injured drivers fund at the Williams  Grove National Open. When asking Kolten about the deal with fully injected, he replied: “I’m really excited to have Fully Injected and Tyler Altmeyer be part of a similar outlook on the sport as I am. It’s a great feeling to give back to the places you came from and an awesome way to get new people involved in this sport and I appreciate the oppurtunity to work with them and build on this.”  This partnership will be a great way to expose central PA to Fully Injected apparel, as well as open new opportunities for fans everywhere to experience the thrill of open wheel racing.

With time comes experience, and Scott Priester certainly has that. The 25 year sprint car veteran jumps on board with us here at Fully Injected to become the fifth member of our exclusive club. Sure, this isn’t the Phoenix or the Priscillian that Harvard University makes so famous; but we are getting close! Scott has been a regular at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania  for as long as I can remember; as well as being a competitor at other various western Pennsylvania racetracks.

Also, new merch being added to the inventory in the coming days. New flex fit “flat bill” caps will be available soon in black and white; also- new shirt design will be released this weekend. Fully Injected to be a part of Sundown Motorsports! Lincoln Speedway not afraid of the cold.

The below freezing temperatures all weekend forced many PA and Ohio tracks to pull the plug on racing for the weekend; all except for Lincoln Speedway in south central Pennsylvania. Brent Marks proved that he was not scared of the cold as he would pick up the 25 lap – 410 sprint car victory on the 3/8’s mile oval some very stiff  PA Posse competition. The feature win payed $3200. The 358’s were also on hand with Dale Hammaker picking up the victory.

I would like to take the time to thank Jim Clark of Sundown Motorsports for allowing Fully Injected to be a part of their 2011 racing program. They will be boasting the Fully Injected name and logo and we are super excited to have this opportunity! For any information regarding Sundown Motorsports and their race schedule; check out www.sundownmotorsports.com

Don’t forget to keep checking back with us here at www.fullyinjected.com  – This weekend’s plans might have a slight change – we will keep you posted!

Lernerville Speedway postpones opening night…

Western Pennsylvania’s Lernerville Speedway will have to wait one more week before their gates can open. Cold temperatures and mixed precipitation over the past few days has forced the Sarver, PA 4/10’s mile to postpone their scheduled opening night of 2011 until next Friday, April 1st.

Next weekend looks a little different for the gang here at Fully Injected. The plan seems to involve yet another road trip out east to the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, PA. The 410 sprinters and 358 sprinters will be on the card; with the next day being the first day of trout season in that part of the state. That makes it even more exciting.
