Great Night at Millstream with All Stars Ends with Car Damage

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

Fremont, OH (July 7th, 2015) – ‘The Texas Traveler’ T.J. Michael will return to ‘410’ sprint car competition this Friday and Saturday with a pair of Fremont/Attica Sprint Title (F.A.S.T.) events in northwestern Ohio. Michael, a Plano, Texas native residing in Fremont, Ohio during the summer months, will join the Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘410’ Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service this Friday and Saturday, July 10th & 11th; participating in programs at the Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway. Michael, who is halfway through his first full season in a ‘410’ sprint car, will hunt for a career-first ‘410’ sprint car victory this weekend, as well as his fourth victory of the 2015 season overall. The driver of the Advanced Cast Stone, Fremont Fence Company, Kear’s Speed Shop, Snap-On, no. 8M ‘410’ sprinter has entered a number of ‘305’ sprint car events this season; earning three wins in Texas and Ohio. F.A.S.T. action will begin at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio on Friday, July 10th, followed by action at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio on Saturday, July 11th.

“We’re ready to get back to it” said T.J. Michael, “We’ve been pretty busy the last few weeks. It will be nice to race close to our shop this weekend. Things haven’t been too bad; just lacking a little bit of consistency right now. I’m still learning a lot about ‘410’ racing. Getting seat time at a variety of race tracks during the last few weeks has helped me a lot. Hopefully we can put that to good use this weekend.”

During his most recent ‘410’ start, T.J. Michael joined the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions at the now reopened Millstream Speedway in Findlay, Ohio. There were ‘30’ UNOH All Star ‘410’ sprints entered for the Millstream Speedway ‘Grand Reopening.’ Michael qualified for the 30-lap, $5,000-to-win main event after finishing sixth during heat race competition. The Texas teenager started 17th during the UNOH All Star A-main, but would have to surrender his running position before the finish due to damage from a massive mud clod.

“It came through the hood and damaged the dash” said T.J. Michael, “The mud clod tore a big hole in the hood and basically knocked the dash and all of my gauges out. It was pretty disappointing because we were having a really good night. We’ll regroup this week and try to pick up where we left off.”
