South Park, PA (June 23rd, 2013) – Jared Miley of South Park, Pennsylvania will participate in one of the biggest and most notorious super late model events of the 2013 season beginning this Thursday evening, June 27th; as the 7th Annual ‘Firecracker 100’ Presented by GottaRace.com is set to take shape at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania. The three-day World of Outlaws Late Model Series event, which spans from Thursday, June 27th until Saturday, June 29th, will feature two (2) $6,000-to-win preliminary main events, a 30-lap non-qualifiers main event worth $3,000; and finally, the 100-lap, $30,000-to-win ‘Firecracker 100’ finale. The Thursday and Friday ‘Firecracker 100’ dates will feature a full preliminary program for the World of Outlaws Late Model Series super late models; featuring a $6,000-to-win main event on both nights. The ‘Firecracker 100’ 100-lap finale, as well as the ‘Uncle Sam 30’ non-qualifiers main event, will take shape on Saturday evening, June 29th. Miley, a recent Lernerville Speedway winner and former super late model track champion, finished eighth (8th) during the ‘Firecracker 100’ Presented by GottaRace.com main event in 2012; charging his Jared Miley Racing, Colussy Chevrolet, Octane Graphix, Brougher’s Machine Shop, ‘H1’ from the inside of the 12th row to secure the top-ten performance. Scott Bloomquist is the defending $30,000, ‘Firecracker 100’ main event winner.
On a special note: Jared Miley will be participating in the 1st Annual ‘Firecracker 100 Kick-It Cup’ kickball game on Friday afternoon, June 28th, during the ‘Firecracker 100’ weekend at the Lernerville Speedway. The 1st Annual ‘Firecracker 100 Kick-It Cup’ will feature ‘Firecracker 100’ super late model drivers, both locally and nationally known, who will be participating in a benefit kickball game to help raise money and awareness towards children’s cancer. The game will take shape at the Lernerville Speedway on Friday, June 28th at 1:00PM. Jared Miley will be playing on Team #2. ‘The Jet’ Jared Miley will enter the upcoming weekend with three (3) super late model main event victories thus far in 2013. The South Park, Pennsylvania native owns two (2) victories at the Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway (PA), and one (1) victory at the Lernerville Speedway (PA); all during regular ‘weekly’ competition. Other recent highlights for Jared Miley and Jared Miley Racing include earning back-to-back top-five finishes during the recent weekend. The pilot of the familiar JMR ‘H1’ finished second at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania on Friday evening, June 21st; before earning a fifth (5th) place finish at the Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway near Imperial, Pennsylvania on Saturday evening, June 22nd. Both finishes were earned during ‘weekly’ super late model competition.
