The NDRL’s ULMS and UEMS ‘Speedweek Tour’ Visit to McKean County Raceway Postponed until Next Friday, July 26
East Smethport, PA (July 19, 2013) The NDRL’s McKean County Raceway was forced to postpone the racing action on Thursday, July 18 after a late afternoon thunderstorm swept through the Smethport area around the six o’clock hour. Speedway officials announced that the event featuring and ‘Incredible Weekly Show’ along with the NDRL’s ULMS and UEMS A&MP Electric Emods will be rescheduled for next Friday, July 26.
Fans are reminded that Friday, July 26 was an originally scheduled off week for McKean County Raceway. ‘We didn’t want to take this show away from the fans and racers that braved the elements to support this event,’ MCR General Manager Chris Zuver stated. ‘We had the open date on the 26th so we decided to move the event to that date as a thank you for the support the race teams and fans have given us throughout the season. The support is greatly appreciated and we can’t say thank you enough.’
The action all starts Friday night, July 26 at 7:30pm with pit gates opening at 4:30pm and grandstand gates opening at 5:00pm. Grandstand admission is now just $12 ($10 senior citizen) and pit passes are now only $25, children 12 and under are free.
