Zearfoss Set to Compete in Two Classes During National Indoor Event

Jonestown, PA (December 22nd, 2014) – Central Pennsylvania’s Brock Zearfoss will waste no time getting his 2015 season activated, and will kick-off the new year competing at the annual Speedway Motors Tulsa Shootout in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The full-time sprint car competitor in ‘Pennsylvania Posse Country’ will once again step down from the ‘410’ ranks, and compete in two separate ‘micro sprint’ classes at this year’s nationally recognized indoor event. Zearfoss, a Jonestown, Pennsylvania native, will make the trip to Tulsa, Oklahoma right after Christmas, and will spend five days at the River Spirit Expo Center driving for Susquehanna Valley Speed Shop in the ‘Outlaw’ and ‘Winged A’ divisions.
“This event is a blast…it really is a great time” explained Brock Zearfoss about the Tulsa Shootout; which features multiple ‘small car/micro sprint’ divisions and hundreds of competitors, “Racers from all over the country kick-off their year with the Tulsa Shootout, and eventually make their way back there for the Chili Bowl…we aren’t racing the Chili Bowl, but we are racing two divisions at the Tulsa Shootout again…we had some success out there last year so hopefully we can do the same this year…I just want to thank everyone who makes this possible – Susquehanna Valley Speed Shop, Mooses LZ, Adam Performance, Sander Wheels, Integra Shocks, Outlaw Wings…I wouldn’t be able to do any of this without their help…I can’t wait to get to Tulsa!”
Zearfoss qualified for two Tulsa Shootout A-mains during last year’s event; finishing 15th (A-Class) and 16th (Outlaw), respectively. The 2014/2015 edition of the Tulsa Shootout will take place from Tuesday, December 30th until Saturday, January 3rd, with over 500 entrees expected to hit the track before the week comes to a close. During the entire week, Mooses LZ Bar and Grill in Jonestown, Pennsylvania will have the event played ‘Live’ for fellow racers and fans to view.
“My dad is going to have the Tulsa Shootout played ‘Live’ at Mooses during the entire week…that will be pretty cool” said Zearfoss, “Hopefully we can go out there and represent our area proudly…we made both A-mains last year, but we still want a little bit more…I definitely need to thank Susquehanna Valley Speed Shop for this opportunity…it’s going to be a blast!”
