VINCENTOWN, N.J. (May 28, 2019) – Taking part in a long, holiday weekend that ignited officially on Tuesday, May 21, Vincentown, New Jersey’s Justin Whittall entered four events in six days during his recent stretch of competition, highlighting his four-pack with a main event start against the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series at Bridgeport (N.J.) Speedway on May 21, followed by a 14th place finish during the Bob Weikert Memorial finale at Port Royal (Pa.) Speedway on May 26.
In dramatic fashion, Whittall’s World of Outlaws feature start in his home state was the result of a transfer position during the evening’s Last Chance Showdown – the sixth and final transfer position. Whittall went on to finish 23rd during the $10,000-to-win, Bridgeport Speedway main event.
In addition, Whittall earned a 15th place finish during Williams Grove Speedway’s high-dollar Lynn Paxton Tribute on Friday, May 24.
“It was a fun week. A busy week, but a fun week. I can’t thank everyone enough. There are a lot of people who make a schedule like this possible, my family included, and their support is overwhelming,” Justin Whittall expressed, driver of the JW Motorsports/Atlantic Utility Trailer/Brotherton Brewing Company/Pioneer Auto Body/Worldwide Bearings/No. 67 sprint car. “To race with the World of Outlaws in our home state is really special. It was a fun experience and I hope to do it again in the future.”
With plans to spectate World of Outlaws competition during their invasion of Nashville, Justin Whittall will enjoy a weekend off before returning to competition the following week.
