Williams Grove Sprints Tune Up For Outlaws Invasion This Week, WoO Summer Nationals Coming July 19/20
MECHANICSBURG – Williams Grove Speedway will host an outlaw tune up for the Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint cars this Friday, July 12 at 7:30 pm.
It will be the last chance for the sprint car drivers to ready themselves before the World of Outlaws sprint cars and stars invade the track for the second time this season on July 19 and 20.
The 410 sprint cars will race for $4,000 to win in a 25-lap feature event this week with time trials setting the heat and feature lineups.
Friday’s show for the 410 sprints will also be part of the 2013 Diamond Series races at Williams Grove.
The Tool Shed of America 358 sprints are also on the July 12 racing program.
Following their tune up this week, the 410 sprint cars known as the Pennsylvania Posse will be locked in battle with the World of Outlaws for the Summer Nationals at Williams Grove one week later.
The two-day Summer Nationals will feature fireworks displays each night of the Friday/Saturday program.
The Williams Grove Saturday Series is in action on July 13 featuring the super sportsman, 358 late models and street stocks at 6:30 pm.
