JONESTOWN, Pa. (January 14, 2024) – Consistency is always the key, and for Brock Zearfoss and Australian car owner, Sean Carren, consistency has been a part of their program since the beginning, ultimately capping the final two rounds of USA vs WA Sprintcar Speedweek with back-to-back podium finishes, concluding their overall Speedweek campaign with a fourth-place finish in the final standings.
Zearfoss, ace of the Goldstar Transport, PTR Finance Group, Valvoline, MPM Diesel, Dandelions WA, Velocity Truck Centers, Daimler Trucks Perth, No. USA95 sprint car, finished third in the aforementioned starts, the first in Bunbury’s Summer Slam on January 6, and the second in Perth Motorplex’ Speedweek finale on January 13. The “Jonestown Jet” qualified for Dash action on each occasion, eventually translating into starting spots within the first two rows.
In all, it was a successful Speedweek campaign for Zearfoss, who earned five top-ten finishes in the six-round schedule, four of which recorded within the top five.
“To end our USA vs WA Speedweek with a podium finish is pretty special. We wanted some wins, but we’ll be grateful with our accomplishments and move forward,” Zearfoss, a former WA Speedweek and Port Royal Speedway champion, explained. “We have a massive week ahead. The Presidents Cup, Kings Challenge, Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic…a lot of prestige in these three events so we’re going to do everything we can to be in the mix. Sean Carren and the entire team bust their butts to give me a car that can be competitive night in and night out. I’m ready to get rollin’.”
The Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic at Premier Speedway, perhaps the Super Bowl of Australian sprint car racing, will feature over 100 competitors, all vying for the $40,000 top prize to be awarded on Sunday, January 21.
Upcoming Agenda:
January 17 | Presidents Cup | Avalon Raceway | Victoria, Australia
January 18 | Kings Challenge | Borderline Speedway | Mount Gambier, South Australia
Jan 19-21 | Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic | Premier Speedway | Warrnambool, Australia
