2022 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series Championship Standings: Tenth | 4820 points [570 points behind championship leader, Brad Sweet]

JONESTOWN, Pa. (July 18, 2022) – In one of the most competitive weeks of the year, the “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing put together a consistent campaign, qualifying for all five main events during their five-race swing through the Buckeye State including the $175,000-to-win Kings Royal finale on Saturday, July 16. The Jonestown, Pennsylvania, native finished 14th in the 40-lap blockbuster, advancing two spots after starting 16th. 

In addition, Zearfoss, pilot of the Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, Berkebile Oil Company, X-1 Race Cars, No. 3Z sprint car, finished 12th in Attica Raceway Park’s annual Brad Doty Classic on Tuesday, 18th in Eldora’s Jokers Wild on Wednesday, 13th in the $100,000-to-win Historical Big One on Thursday, and 15th in Saturday afternoon’s Knight Before the Kings Royal – advancing seven spots from the Last Chance Showdown.

“It was a solid week for our team. Anytime you can maintain consistency against that level of talent says a lot about your program. I’m proud of everyone involved,” Zearfoss said, a recent World of Outlaws winner at Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin. “We’re excited to race in Pennsylvania. A few weeks in our own shop will do wonders for our team. We’re hoping to do great things and represent our home fans proudly.” 

ON DECK:
Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their sophomore campaign with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series with another invasion of Pennsylvania Posse Country, first setting aim on a midweek visit to Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday, July 20. Action will continue with Williams Grove Speedway’s annual Summer Nationals on Friday and Saturday, July 22-23. The Summer Nationals finale will award a $20,000 payday.

Drove forward during starts at Bridgeport Speedway and Attica Raceway Park on Tuesday and Friday, May 17 and 20; 23rd to 14th at Bridgeport and 20th to 12th at Attica Raceway Park. Rallied from the back to finish 12th at Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, on Monday, May 30; started from the pole but made contact with the wall.
