JONESTOWN, Pa. (September 3, 2019) – Brock Zearfoss’ Labor Day weekend in the Buckeye State was impressive. Not only did the Jonestown, Pennsylvania-native secure his third All Star Circuit of Champions victory of the 2019 season, but Zearfoss solidified his place in sprint car history by becoming a Brad Doty Classic champion at Attica Raceway Park. Exciting enough, Zearfoss’ feat awarded him a $10,000 top prize; the largest payday of his young, but accomplished career.

“I’m not sure it actually even set in yet,” Brock Zearfoss said, driver of the Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill/Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc./BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/Meckley’s Limestone Products/Berkebile Oil Company/No. 70 sprint car. “I’ve been wanting to enter that race for the last few years. For it to finally happen, and to win it, is incredible. I can’t say enough about this team. Tye and Shane work their tails off for me and I couldn’t be more proud. I’m confident more wins like this are in store for us.”

Zearfoss’ Brad Doty Classic title on Saturday, August 31, was flanked by a fourth place finish at Attica Raceway Park on Friday, August 30; the product of row six. Certainly not his most impressive passing display of the long, holiday weekend, Zearfoss capped his four-race turned three-race schedule with an insane rally from 20th to finish ninth at Wayne County Speedway on Monday, September 2. Suffering from mechanical issues while leading his respective heat race, Zearfoss rebounded to win the evening’s B-main, setting the stage for his MSD Hard Charger Award during the 30-lap, Rick Susong Memorial feature later that evening.

Wayne County Speedway action set for Sunday, September 1, was cancelled due to weather.

Up next on the schedule, Brock Zearfoss the familiar No. 70 team will venture back to Pennsylvania, ready to rejoin the All Star Circuit of Champions during appearances at Bedford Speedway on Thursday, September 5, as well as at Port Royal Speedway on Friday and Saturday, September 6 & 7. The three-race weekend will be headlined with the $52,000-to-win Tuscarora 50 at Port Royal on Saturday night.
