YORK, Pa. (June 3, 2019) – Although mechanical woes got the best of Cory Haas at Williams Grove Speedway one night prior, the Trone Outdoor Motorsports team bounced back in a big way on Saturday night in the Pigeon Hills and earned a top-ten performance, ending their evening at Lincoln Speedway with an impressive rally from 14th to finish sixth.

Haas has been competitive at the south-central Pennsylvania oval thus far in 2019, highlighting all Lincoln Speedway starts with a fifth place performance on Saturday, May 11; one of two top-ten finishes during the double-feature program that evening in Abbottstown.

“I think we finally got our mechanical issues figured out,” Cory Haas explained, driver of the Trone Outdoor Advertising/Bricker’s/Old Republic Distillery/Creekside Auto Sales/No. 39 sprint car. “Hats off to this team. Despite having some issues, we resolved them and instantly got ourselves back on track for a top-ten at Lincoln. We have a busy weekend ahead, so hopefully we can keep this momentum going and get that first win of the season.”

Cory Haas and John Trone’s Trone Outdoor Motorsports will now prepare for a three-day swing through Central Pennsylvania, all of which kicking-off on Thursday evening, June 6, at BAPS Motor Speedway near York Haven. The weekend will continue on Friday and Saturday, June 7 & 8, with visits to Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway, respectively.
