T.J. Michael Earns Top-Ten with All Stars, Back to Work with Upcoming Triple-Header

FREMONT, Oh. (May 31, 2016) – After earning a pair of top-12 finishes with the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions during Memorial Day weekend, Plano, Texas, native T.J. Michael will now look ahead and begin preparations for another full weekend of competition in Ohio and Pennsylvania, beginning with World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series action on Friday night, June 3, at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio.

“We have a lot on our plate this weekend, but we’re excited to get it started,” explained T.J. Michael. “We’ll be on the road for three days, basically. We had a pretty good weekend this past weekend, so we’ll do our best to repeat.”

Once World of Outlaws competition is complete, T.J. Michael will pack shop and travel south to the Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio, for a one night program on Saturday, June 4. The “Texas Traveler” will rejoin the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions during his visit to the Atomic highbanks, continuing his first full season on the road with the regional series.

Arctic Cat All Star competition will continue on Sunday, June 5, at the Bedford Fairgrounds Speedway in Bedford, Pennsylvania. It will be Michael’s second ever appearance at the Bedford half-mile, finishing 13th during his first visit after starting 20th on the grid.

Michael will enter the pair of Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions programs currently fifth in the championship chase, earning two top-ten finishes in the process, as well as two hard charger awards. Most recent results with “America’s Series” includes finishing 11th at Attica Raceway Park on Friday night, May 27, after starting 25th. Positive results continued on Saturday, May 28, at the Wayne County Speedway in Orrville where Michael finished 9th during the 30-lap main event, earning his way in by way of heat race victory.

“Our rookie season with the Arctic Cat All Stars has been fun so far. We are really enjoying ourselves,” said T.J. Michael. “We’ve been learning a lot and it’s starting to show. We’re proud of where we are right now. We’ll do our best to keep our momentum on the positive side.”
